Class #3: Caesar Salad... I love it... any questions?

Like I said in my previous post, I love the italian culture and stuff. But I forgot to mention other great thing about this milenarian culture, and that is the food. Yes, I know that the Caesar Salad is from mexico, but it was created by an italian inmigrant, so it still counts.

How can look that thing without getting hungry? Seriously...

The reason I love this salad in particular it's sort of like a nostalgia factor. This was one of the first salads I tasted as a child and I loved so much that I annoyed the hell out my mother to prepare me more. I was a little brat back then.

Unfortunadely, I can't eat it as often as I would. But I think is better that way. If I ate Caesar Sallad every day in my life, I would get tired of it very quickly. As I said before, I like being moderated about the things I like because I don't want to be too extreme or overreact when it's not a big deal.

Well, now I'm going to talk about the salad itself. The ingredients are: roman lettuce, croutons, olive oil, parmesan cheese, vinaigrette and sometimes lemon juice or grilled chicken. To prepare it, you need to wash the lettuce and tear it into bite-size pieces, then put it a bowl and take the parmesan and grated it. Then you put it all al together and add some croutons in the top. And finally you add the vinaigrette and olive oil and dinner's ready.

Very easy to prepare, but the result it's quite satisfactory. I strongly recommend it for all the peole who love salads and think that it's just than a simple side for the meal. Just taste it, you're not gonna be dissapointed.

And that's all I have to said for today, goodbye and bon appetit.

By, the way, this is my source for the Caesar Salad preparation:
